God tells me I'm beautiful. He tells me I am stronger than I think I am. He tells me my expectations will surpassed. He says he has me in his hand. At training camp, we got split into two groups. One group had to raise their hand and keep their eyes closed while the other group walked up to us and put their hands on us. We kept our eyes closed and had to tell that person what God was telling us about them. We switched and there was much truth spoken to me even though the person speaking had no idea who I was. I think we should affirm eachother more often. Encouragement is so profound and we should never keep compliments to ourselves. My team is awesome about this. We all affirm eachother constantly and it really keeps the positivitey up.
Anyway, we made it to Kenya last night after about 36 hours of travel. The first thing I noticed is how beautiful the Kenyan people are. They are also very gracious and kind. I also noticed how much we stick out, but I think its more than the fact that we carry fanny packs and big purses. I think this team has been annointed with God's love and I think people see that. Even the birds have been looking at us. A bird actually flew in our window today while we were eating lunch.
We toured Kijabe today and I look forward to the ministry opportunities I am going to have. Tomorrow we're traveling to a tribe and will be there for a whole week!
My thoughts are so scattered right now so I apologize for the unorganization.
Keep praying for us and my thoughts are with you all as well!
