If God doesn’t show up, we’re screwed.

Hey everyone!  I am here safely in Georgia! We have been here for only 4 short days and God has already done major work! It really shouldn't be a surprise but honestly, I am a little amazed at what has taken place not only in me but in my teammates too! Even though I have been surrounded by a team of 12 other people for almost the entire time I've been here, I can't help but to just feel alone with God… an intimiate feeling which I've been missing out on for awhile by letting myself become distracted with things of the world. Imagine With Me…

I want you to imagine with me for a few minutes…imagine your leaving behind everything that has been known to you, everything that has been a comfort, all of your friends and family, your church, your work, your homes, your rooms, beds, bathrooms, clean clothes, personal space…EVERYTHING that has been a comfort to you or has been taken for granted. I’ve been exposed to different aspects of God that I never really paid any attention to before. Training camp has definitely been an eye-opening experience. We have been at training camp for only a few days now and I already feel so close with my team. I know that these 13 crazy kids will be my family for the next four months and I’m...

Set Free!

Voices rose to the sky as God given passions bursted into existence. I heard the cries of my brothers and sisters crying out to the God whose love was finally being embraced. With chairs tossed to the side because the children of God needed space to move, dance, and jump in their freedom, I experienced a worship service that was like no other!    Before this moment however, there was a battle within my heart that I could not ignore.  Guilt and Regret vs. God’s abundant, ever-present, overflowing love.   My heart was plagued with guilt and from that...
