Well, we made it to africa! It took a long 30 something hours on planes and in airports, but we finally made it. Africa is so beautiful. Our first 2 days were spent in Nairobi in the most amazing hostel in the world. Its called the Milimani Backpacker, and I love it. Our days in Nairobi were limited to the hostel, and coffee shop down the street because of safety reasons. So far, in the past two weeks I have been in Atlanta (Georgia), Frankfurt (Germany), Addis Ababa (Ethiopia), Nairobi (Kenya), and now Busia (Kenya). We have lived on air planes, hostles, and now houses. We don't have toilets, hot showers, or beds (some of us). We have made up games, learned some, played a LOT of football (European), danced, sang, and have eaten…lots. It has been nothing like I have expected…how could it have been? Welp, we’re finally in Busia! I am so glad to finally be here…despite the fact that I’m soaking in my own sweat as I’m writing this. It feels so good to finally be in one place knowing that we don’t have to travel anymore.
