Hey everyone! Our trip just arrived in Kenya last night! Before we left America we had a 4 day training camp in Tennessee. Training camp was like a retreat or Christian conference except you know that you will be living with the people there for the next two months! There was a total of 215 of us at camp going leaving to go to countries all over the world. There are 15 people on our trip to Kijabe. Adventures in Missions (AIM) places a huge enphasis on community so by the end of training camp we all felt like family. We opened up to each other on our team about past hurts and that was the biggest thing that brought us together. ALso, the Holy Spirit manifested himself in our lives during camp in ways that many of us had not experienced before which was so encouraging for us as we will need to be relyiong on him to work through us while we are in Kenya. Today we toured the hospitals and schools that the church we are staying at supports. Tomorrow we are packing up and sleeping in tents in a village for a week and going hut to hut telling people about God. Please be praying for us as we go out and share for the next week!
