The Gift of No Athletic Ability

Sometimes our ministry falls through for the day or part of it- as we say :This is Africa J (you learn to be quite flexible and go with the flow). A lot of these kids are into playing soccer so we sometimes make our own ministry by finding an open field and just playing soccer with a bunch of kids. Normally it turns into who can beat the white -lol and kids love it! As many of you know, I am not one for playing soccer or any sports for that matter, so while everyone else is running around getting all sweaty and tired, I get to sit down and play with the kids (mostly the girls and the ones who are too young to play). Then at the end of it all, someone share the gospel with these kids. We have been to the same spot a couple times and have started to build relationships with some of the same kids. There is one little girl (with some of her cousins, sisters, or however they are related) who always finds me each time. She is one of the most precious little girls (a bit bratty at times J but so precious). I still have no idea what her name is or any of the names of the other girls that are always by me. All I can say is that these girls just make you laugh. Each time they have pointed to the rest of the team asking again and again what each of their names are and repeating them and then 5 minutes later asking me their names again! They love to pet our hands (kinda weird but oh well!) and touch our hair.   It was fun just to make our own ministry sometimes and to not have a certain plan as to how it should happen.
