God healed my sausage fingers!
So we recently have been starting our hospital visits where we meet people and pray for the sick. It can be very hard at times especially the childrens ward and God releases his compassion for them on my heart everytime. So the other day on our way to our visist my hands started to swell, burn and itch extremly bad out of no where. They felt like they were on fire and I couldn't stop itching. Then one of my teamates, Jeremy, frolicked over and said a short prayer for me and said , Andrea your healed! Im like yup they still burn and itch woopty woo thanks for the prayer. Then he busted out this big grin and said, Andrea say it out loud until you beleive it. Im like no. But then I was curiouse to try so I just did it. I said very loudly, IM HEALED, IM HEALED, IM HEALED! Each time gaining more assurance. And I swear to you, the pain slowly just started leaving my hands. It was amazing! I couldnt stop laughing! I've realized maybe God would heal more often if we prayed with more faith and assurance that he actaully can heal. And I've found sometimes that means yelling out loud until you make yourself beleive it in your heart! I mean the guy created the universe why did I ever doubt he could take some itching and swelling out of my hands? That day was followed with many miracles that took place in that hospital.
