4 Days, 14 teammates, 2 leaders, and 1 God.

This weekend has been exhausting, exhilirating, exciting, and insanely fun.  Training camp has been a roller coaster of emotions for myself and my teammates.  I have made 14 beautiful friends who I cannot wait to spend the next four months with, and I have witnessed God's presence multiple times.  We have been doing everything, from running around downtown Atlanta on a Friday night to role-playing a tribe encounter.  We have heard many testimonies from previous participants, and we have been educated on our destination's culture and traditions.  At the...

WERE Not even in AFRICA YET!!!!!!

AHH i am being stretched like a gumby doll..God's been pulling me out of my comfort zone more than i would have ever imagined and were not even in Africa yet! He has made me so close to Him, making me know who i am in Him! My prayer life has never been this strong. i camp to camp expecting to stand there singing worship songs instead i find myself in the presence of Him….MAN AND WERE NOT EVEN IN AFRICA YET!!

Blessings in the Airport

I am writing this blog from the Atlanta airport, which has seemed to be my home for the past two days.  Yesterday, my whole team and I were supposed to fly out of Atlanta to Amsterdam at 5:30 pm.  I was so excited to finally get to leave for Kenya and to begin ministry there.  After spending the entire day at the airport ( a wonderful day, full of conversation, laughter, and anticipation), we arrived at the gate, brimming with excitement.
