At training camp I expected to learn a lot about the culture and what type of ministry we would be doing in Kenya. Instead, training camp was about preparing our hearts and getting rid of baggage in our lives before we stepped into our missions field. When I told everyone back home in Ohio that I would be at training camp for one week in Georgia, I bet they were picturing what I had been picturing for so long. Sleeping in a nice building, eating lots of food, being clean the whole week before we left, and especially being comfortable.
