A God’s Eye View

On Friday, I flew to our training camp, which was a flight from Cleveland, Ohio to Atlanta, Georgia. I haven't flown since 7th grade and I was overcome by the beauty that is our God. I tend to "get used to" the beauty that I am around on a daily basis and God reopened my eyes as we landed in Atlanta. When the plane took off from Cleveland, if was pouring rain. Honestly, I was disappointed. I wanted to be able to watch the city grow faint as I peered out the window. But, the Lord knew what was in store for me and He knew what He was about to teach me. So graciously, God...

The day has begun

Hello All! So My Adventure is just beginning as we put a slow end to training camp. Although we have only been here for 3 days it feels like forever! He began to bring my heart to a place of change. I had fear, hatred, judgement, my past, and insecurities that...

Amazingly Awkward

The past few days have been an intersting mix of awkward and amazing. We have been going through all of the awkward "get to know you" stuff with our teammates, but at the same time experiencing amazing encounters with God. If training camp is any indication of what is to come once we are in Kenya, it will be nothing short of absolutly increadable!

What did I get myself into!?!

Habari friends! (Thats "hello" in Swahili if you were wondering) I am here at training camp at Toccoa Falls college in Georgia and i am drinking the best sweet tea i have EVER had! There are 14 different teams here being trained to be sent to the mission field in anywhere from Peru to New Zealand. I have 23 people on my Kenya team and our team by far has the most fun and we laugh the most so I think we are off to a great start! I have already had so many great advetures such as a bonfire, campout with my whole team, surrender hike, dance off and hammock time. The worship times...
