This first week of ministry was awesome.  It was very emotional but super encouraging.  We have been working in the schools and the little african children have stolen my heart.  They have such sweet smiles and have a irreplaceable joy.  We also had the opportunity to work in the hospital.  We went into the children’s, female, male, and surgical ward to pray over the sick and wounded.  It was very emotional because I kept wondering why God chose these people to get sick when they already have nothing. Guess whose safe in Busia, Africa? I am! From our hostel in Nairobi we took a 9 hour bus ride to Deliverance church in Busia. I am staying at Pastor Gideons house along with 6 other girls and the 4 boys. The 7 girls stay in one room with 2 beds. 5 girls stay in the beds while we have one girl on the ground and one in her hammock. Its quite cozy with us all squished in there. Hello from Kenya!      After three plane rides, a mini-bus airport taxi, multiple taxis to the bus station, and a nice 10 hour bus ride to Busia we have finally made it to Busia, Kenya (our home for the next two months). Hi!!! I am safe and sound in Busia kenya!! We spent 3 days in nairobi kenya which was amazing.  We went to the internet cafe and met a man named Cosmas who is AMAZING!! He invited us back to his house and church.  He wants us to meet his family.  He lives in Mombasa which is on the coast of kenya.
