I have never experienced the Holy Spirit as much as I have on this trip so far. Honestly, I knew about the Holy Spirit, but i guess I didn’t realize how powerful He was. And the more you listen and the more you practice listening to Him the more real He becomes and you begin to see the Almighty power that He is. We hop in a crazy old Matatu (van), ride about two hours on the left side of the road, experience many bumps and bruises, and arrive basically in the middle of nowhere in the valley. It’s kind of ironic that I sit writing this blog from the hospital chaplains office. So here it goes…   It all began on our hospital visit day and I had already struggled to get through visiting the Turkana Tribe down in the valley the day before.
