My time in Kenya is quickly coming to an end. It is hard to believe that it has been more than three months. I am excited to be home, especially with Christmas being so soon. I am super excited to catch up with my family and friends before I jet off to the next adventure that God has for me in Spain. I am not so excited to being leaving my teammates.
I have loved my last three months in Kenya because I got to spend it with seven amazing women of The Lord. I can't imagine a more perfect plan than the one God had by placing me on this team. I have learned something different from each one of my teammates. I can't imagine my life without my new best friends. We have grown so much together. We have learned to tell each other the hard things and to not forget to tell each other the little things. There is something so special about living in an intense community where everyone is truly seeking out God. It is a beautiful thing!
We have made so many amazing memories that I will never forget. After eating over three hundred consecutive meals together and always being together, it is going to be hard to say good-bye. I know that we will always be friends, but we will also probably never have a chance to spend so much time together again. I'm thankful for the time we have had and will say good-bye knowing that God has a great plan ahead of each one of us, that I will always have at least seven people cheering me on, and most importantly we all be in heaven together for eternity!
