Over the past two and a half months, God has been showing me something amazing…that ministry does not start when I leave my house nor does it end when I return, it is always happening and it’s an attitude that needs to be cultivated.
So far in Busia, our planned ministry opportunities have been few and far between, but I am learning that anything can be ministry; helping clean the house we are staying at is ministry, helping prepare and clean up after meals is ministry, and something as simple as filling up another person’s water bottle is ministry.
Ministry opportunities are all around us, the only question is are we willing to sacrifice our time, our talents, and put forth the effort to selflessly serve others. I know that I want to always think of others first and remember that ministry is all around us…my question to you is are you going to think of others first and serve?
