I never in a million years would have imagined myself as a leader, and yet here I am leading 12 people in Kenya for 4 months J I can still remember when God first called me to lead a Real Life trip and my response- silence and doing a double take. Even though I ever imagined myself as a leader, God did and I am so blessed to be here and be leading these kids. God does know me so much 
better than I know myself and is showing me more and more of who He created me to be! Even though quiet- filled with so much fierceness, boldness, and strength! I am so happy I said yes to God!
During this past week God has given me the confidence I needed and keeps on reminding me that since He has called me to this He has also equipped me! And the amazing thing is that whatever happens over these next 4 months is completely God! I know that I cannot do anything on my own and that it seems that I am in a position where I have no choice but to rely and be dependent on God- the perfect place to be!!!
"My grace is sufficient for you. My power is made perfect in weakness."
I love this team so much already! As my team says- I am like a mom- and in a matter of a week I now have 12 kids J It is amazing to see how God has given me a heart and love for this kids the first moment I saw them! My heart breaks when theirs does and rejoices when they overcome and freedom happens. Their joys are mine J This is truly an amazing group of city shakers and they do not even know how amazing they are!!!
Please continue to pray for us all! We head out to ministry tonight and start right into ministry when we get there JBe praying for:
* Continued team unity and patience and grace with community living
* Wisdom , guidance, confidence, discernment for Michael and me
* Boldness and knowing that God has them here for a purpose!!
* More in tune with the heart of God!!!
