Mama Orphan

Today was our first day of ask the Lord ministry. Yesterday when me and Kim were at the internet cafe we ran into a guy Ken who works at Mama’s Orphanage and spoke to him. So I got his card to contact him since I knew we had the week to go and do what ministry we felt called to. So I thought that was a sign from God that I should go to the orphanage. After morning glory we took time individually to pray and ask God what ministry we should do today, where we should go, who we should talk to. When I was praying I kept getting eyes, eyeballs, blind. I didn’t know what that meant, but I really did think that the orphanage thing was from God. So when I went to the orphanage I was just about to ask Ken if they had any kids there that were blind, but before I even had the chance to ask he started telling me about Joseph. He was telling us about Joseph a boy in high school who has cancer in his eye. His eye is affected by cancer and he is blind in one eye. Immediately I was really excited and wanted to meet him. But he goes to school far away and doesn’t get home until 6pm. So I haven’t gotten to meet him yet, but I really know that I want to. 

Mama’s story is truly amazing. In 1990 she was pregnant with one of her baby’s. She began bleeding and needed to be taken to the hospital. The hospital was far away and she could only be taken by bike. She was in the hospital and the last thing she heard was “oh no, this mama just died”. Then she ascended up into heaven. She described her ascent into heaven and the position her hands and body were in as she went up. She described the golden gates with trumpets. She described it as a light that didn’t come from the sun, but wasn’t darkness, it was more like a glow. She got to the gates and she heard a deep voice saying “MONICA, MONICA” which is Mama’s first name. And she felt a puff of wind blow her backwards three times. The voice which was God, asked her what she was doing here, it told her it was not her time yet. God told mama that she’s not done on earth yet, He told her she needs to take care of His children. He asked her if she wanted to hear what His children sound like, and she told us about hearing babies crying below her, but not seeing any babies. Then God showed Mama a scale type machine that everyone must step on before they enter the gates of heaven. He told her that just because she is a minister does not mean she will not be held accountable for her life. After this God pushed Mama back and she described a very long fall back down, with her arms in a different position this time. She came back into her body at the hospital. The doctors and witnesses say she was dead for an hour. When she came back into her body she asked the doctors for water. When she drank the water they gave her, as it went through her body steam rose from her body because she was extremely hot, so the doctors poured water all over her to cool her off. For weeks after this Mama had many more dreams where she met Jesus and he continued to give her visions and tell her of taking care of his lost children. Six years later Mama was leaving the shop she owned and she saw an orphan boy outside. Something inside her told her not to leave him, but she did. She got a few more steps and heard the same voice saying “MONICA, MONICA”, she knew it was God. He told her to turn back, that that was her son, that she needs to go back and get him so she did. After that day in ’96 God continued to bring orphans to her. Eventually she had to sell her store, her car, her bike and everything she owned to buy some property for her orphanage that has 132 children at it today.
