Hello Friends and Family!
I’m sitting here completely dumbfounded that my time in Kenya is coming to an end… didn’t I get here like a week ago? I just can’t believe it. But, I also can’t believe how God has used this time to completely flip my world upside down and I am SO excited to be able to go home and tell everyone how He has grown me in the past few months.
Needless to say, this will probably be my last blog in “the pride of Africa” a.k.a. Kenya, and my mind is going a million different directions trying to think of the right words to say, but they’re just not coming to me. All I can say is Praise God for His faithfulness, mercy, grace, and unfailing love. That’s really it. Without Him we would have had no love for the children in the Masai village, no words of encouragement and freedom to give the men we met in the Turkana village who were slaves to addiction, and no kindness and generosity for the people at the IDP camp. For real… He is good! Also, thank you SO much to those who have prayed for us as we’ve been here. Your prayers mean the world to us!
I will never forget this time I’ve been able to spend here and can’t wait to come back! I’ve learned so much about myself and most importantly that my identity is in Christ alone. Sorry this has been so short but like I said… I’m speechless. Thanks again for all of your support, encouragement, and love! See you in a few days!
Kwaheri!
