Hello everyone! I am writing to you from training camp in Atlanta Georgia! Let me just fill you in on these last couple days! Wow where do I start, I just want to say I was blessed with the most outgoing and wonderful group of fourteen including our team leaders Jana and Michael. The first night we got to go to the homeless shelter where we were given blankets and food to give to the homeless and to practice evangelism.
Even though its only been three days I can see I have already been transformed. The leaders here and the worship is amazing. I learned to forgive myself for a lot that I have been holding inside, I have learned I cant go out into the world preaching about god and telling people how wonderful he is and how much he loves us when I don’t love myself. I felt like I had lost my spirit with god for a long time but through this process I am more close with him than I have ever been.
. At this point in my life I never thought I would find a place that I really felt like I fit in, that I would find people that have the same beliefs as I do or want to make a change. But god has lead me here for a reason. To affect the nations, let people that are lonely , homeless, poor, addicted, and abused to know that they are loved. To know that there is a god that saved all of us and to praise him. I am more ready than ever to make a difference! I ask all of you reading my blogs to pray for these people and for me during this mission as I will be for you. Next stop…..KENYA! Where our work will begin !
