We just spoke with the team leaders and they've all arrived safely in Kenya. They are in route to their ministry site via some very long bus rides and will be settling in these next few days and getting some orientation from their host. Before coming on the trip my heart was hardened. My community was drifting and my life was a blur of change. Rather than pressing into the Lord for comfort and hope I chose to press into worldly things. I knew the Lord had something big for me in asking me to come on this trip but I had no idea how quickly He would act. Training camp so far has been a great experience for me. I just wanna update you guys on a couple things the Lord has really been putting on my heart these past couple of days. One of the biggest things Hes taught me is that my past doesnt define who I am as person and wont have control over my life. I'm not going to let things of the past hover over me like a dark cloud. I am his child and He pours his grace, kindness, mercy and love aroud me each and everyday. For a long time in my life i always that when situations occur and i dont hear from the Lord that he wasnt there helping...
