    Paul and John are brothers. Paul is 17 years old and his older brother John is 22. Over the past three weeks I’ve had the opportunity to read God’s word, pray with, played games, built lego houses, and just got to hang out with them. God opened a lot of doors and we really built a relationship and have gotten to know each other the past few weeks....

  I decided to put up a picture blog this, and give you   guys a little glipse of what we see here in Kenya. These first few pictures are from the IDP Internally Displaced People   camp down in the valley that we have gone to the last two Saturdays.    I promised people back home that I would be taking a lot of pictures, but I’ve been slacking on posting them on the blog! Luke 10:19: “For I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you”   Our group has been visiting the Turkana tribe on Tuesdays. We hop in a crazy old Matatu (van), ride about two hours on the left side of the road, experience many bumps and bruises, and arrive basically in the middle of nowhere in the valley. Their land is beautiful, surrounded by mountains and beautiful vegetation and trees. The people are beautiful as well, especially a young woman named Monica who purposes this blog 🙂 ...

I have never experienced the Holy Spirit as much as I have on this trip so far. Honestly, I knew about the Holy Spirit, but i guess I didn’t realize how powerful He was. And the more you listen and the more you practice listening to Him the more real He becomes and you begin to see the Almighty power that He is. This is a story from the Trakauna tribe about how it must be the Holy Spirit that moves people toward accepting him.
