We haven't even left the states, yet this time has already been quite an adventure. I am amazed at how quickly our team became a family. Our team comes from all different backgrounds and worship in all different ways. But, none of that matters in the presence of the Lord. 12 students and 2 leaders. 14 souls that have already began to expeirence the Lord in a whole new way! 14 souls that love each other. 14 souls that are changing the world.
Last night, worship was lead by the Holy Spirit. His presence was undeniable! Following worship and speaking, we learned about prophecy. Prophecy is basically speaking something that will strengthen, encourage, and/or comfort someone. We learned that when we speak, life happens! Because when Christ spoke, life happened! And Christ lives inside of us! We then took turns prophesying over our teammates and other teams. We prayed and listened for God to show or tell us something about or for that person. He began to speak to us immediately! So many people’s lives were rocked! My life was rocked! God spoke through me and to me! I have learned to trust Him so much more! I have realized that the voice that I have been hearing in my head is not just me being crazy! I just want right now to tell you that if I were to leave right now and go home, that it would have been worth it. It is hard to express in this post because it would end up being a novel! Haha! But, every once of energy, doubt, worry, money, time, and sleep deprivation would have been worth it. Your money and time has already been well invested because my life has been changed forever. If I was to walk away right now, it would have been worth it for you and for me. Obviously, I’m not walking away right now. Haha! We board the plane to Kenya in 2 days! Thank you for investing into the Kingdom. Thank you for investing into me.
