Today I went to the largest slum in Africa: Kibera. As soon as I entered the van my heart hurt for the sites we were going to see. It was endless metal and mud shacks and in the distance you could see the skyscrapers of the city. It was heartbreaking to see such poverty in such a westernized and developed city. I’m still processing the whole thing so this post is going to be left as “To Be Continued” so I hope that you will check back in to read the rest of my thoughts!
