Since we have arrived here in Kenya, we have had the opportunity to spend a couple days to rest and catch up on missed sleep. It has given me the opportunity to spend some time in the word and to talk to the other missionaries here in Kijabe. It has been a great couple of days for me to reflect on my life and why I am here.
These verses really stuck out to me and made me realize that I need to be better prepared for the questions I get asked. "Walk in wisdom toward outsiders, making the best use of the time. Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer each person." Colossians 4:5-6
I have been called to proclaim the mystery of the gospel to those who do not know. Although I can save no one, I'm responsible to be willing to let God speak through me. I must testify to what God has done in my own life so that others may believe.
May God use me as a vessel to reach the lost. This is my prayer as we venture into the bush of Africa today to witness to the Massaai people.
