I gave the devil a bloody nose!!

Ha! I’m guessing most of you are wondering what I am talking about. After getting back from the Maasia Tribe I ended up getting sick along with a few others. It was Wednesday morning I woke up from a sleepless night because my stomach was rolling and my head was pounding. That morning we made our way to the Kajabe Hospital to visit with the sick and injured patients there. My stomach was still turning but I decided to tuff it out and I’ll tell you why in a bit. Jenna Ghizas, Denise Powers, and I decided to go to the women’ ward to see where the patients faith’s were at. This lady named Ester keeps coming back to me in my mind. Ester has been at the hospital for a couple month’s because she had a tumor in her chest. But a couple weeks ago she had surgery to remove it and she was sitting up laughing with us and telling us how thankful she is that God was by her side the whole way. It was so encouraging throwing bible verses at her and bringing happy tears to her eyes. Ester was one of the many women we talked to that day. When you walk through the hospital you can always tell the difference between the believers and the people your going to have to spend time with(non-believers). But I love the challenge! It’s so humbling when you get done talking with someone and you know the Holy Spirit was just spitting words out of your mouth because after I get done I realize that there is no way it was me.

That day meant alot to me because after the Maasia adventure the Holy Spirit was just ROCK’N in me and it always seems when you are in the zone the devil tries throwing something like sickness or thinking twice about something at you. But when the girls and I looked at eachother after walking out of there we new God worked through us in so many ways and it is so rewarding. I am very competitive and when it comes down to me and the devil i’m going to win. Especially when God is on my side. I cannot stand when he temps me with something, so after that expierence I feel like a gave him a good punch to the face. God will always give you a way out of any temptation.

I promise I’ll have more stories for you next week but I was busy this week and didn’t have much time to write a long blog. But we are getting alot done and touching alot of hearts.

God Bless
