Coming to training the only thing I expected was preparation for Kenya. Instead, I got a little chat from God.
Before I could never tell if God was talking to me or if my brain was talking to myself… That makes me sounds like a crazy person, but I’m sure you’ve thought of that too, right? Wednesday I asked my leader “How do you know when God is talking to you.” She gave me a pretty good answer, but I was still a tad confused. Also, I was convinced that God just didn’t want to talk to me. THAT NIGHT, our sermon was over Hearing Gods voice, believe that he speaks, knowing that life happens when God speaks, and GOD IS STILL WANTING TO SPEAK TO US (Hebrew 13:3)
We did a couple of exercises of just listening to Gods voice & SPEAKING truth! My favorite was some of us had our eyes closes & someone came up to us and placed their hand on out shoulder & without knowing who that person was we just asked God to give us words to speak over them. SO WE DID!!! The girl I prayed for started crying & told me that was exactly what she was struggling with & was what she needed to hear!
The very God I thought didn’t want to talk to me DID! I am so excited to see exactly what he is going to do in Africa & how he Is going to use My team & I to speak life into people & truth over these people & even comfort! He is so good!
I leave tomorrow at 5 to KENYA!
