So it was the first to weeks at the tangy tatto tribe. it was so good because God is good. Lots and lots of walking haha. we walk a long distance one day to this ladies house up on a hill. Her name was elizabeth she was almost about 90 and reminded me of my grandma. we came apon her working in the bean field all by her self. she was so happy to see vistors all the way up her hill. we tolled her why we where here and what we were doing and she was just smiling the hole time. When we asked her how things were with her she started to cry. i instantly went over to her and gave her a hug. Elisabeths husband and oldest son had died in the 2007 election they were murdered. She had no one left almost 90 years old and left to make it on her own take care of the field and find food to eat every day. God instantly put hunger on my heart when we walked up to her. it was two types of hunger though. Ther was the first one which was literal and the second one was a hunger for the LORD. Even though all that had happened in Elizabeths life she still had complet faith in God. Still crying i and another girl brie started praying for her i took her hand in mine and laid the other one on her shoulder. after we were both done praying i asked the translater to ask if she was hungery. Before the translater could even speak Elizabeth through mine and brie hand up in the air and started praying to. Even though this old lady spoke a completly different language i could understand what she was saying and the thanks she was giving to the LORD. It was like for the first time in a long time she felt again how much God loved her. As soon as she was done praying every one reached in to there bags and pulled out there lunch for the day and gave it to her some even gave what little money they brought. Elizabeth went and sate under a tree lifting everything we just gave her up to God in thanks as we all walked away crying are eyes out and just in aww of how the holy spirit works. God bless that sweet old lady keep her in your prayers.
