To know the basic foundations of what it means to live a Christian life is completely different than bringing these foundations to life. The basic of all is the trinity, the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit. Jesus speaks to his disciples in Acts 1:8, “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you…” When Jesus ascended the Holy Spirit came down to us.
As Kelly spoke to our group on the Kingdom being here right now the first night of training camp I began to recognize how dead of a spirit I currently had living in me. God is mighty, Jesus loves, the Holy Spirit is just as powerful as the others, and it lives in me. It was in that moment that I fell apart eager to rediscover the basics of what I’ve been taught my entire life about the Holy Spirit. Matthew 18 immediately came to mind talking about the Greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven. I knew at this moment change was in order as it talks about humbling yourself and having a child-like faith.
Since that moment I immediately felt alive and awake! Through all the silliness and team activities we have truly bonded the greatest over the fact that we’ve all lacked in acknowledging the power of the Holy Spirit living in us and we are ready to begin asking boldly & living dangerously for His Kingdom.
Extravagance is reigning over this team as we are rediscovering the LIVE spirit in us. Ephesians 3:20 says “Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout al generations, for ever and ever! Amen.”
