” God who loves the frail beings He made with a crazy kind of love”

` For anyone who knows me knows that I DONfT READ! However, as Ifve learned, Africa can make crazy things happen in your lifec like read two books in two weeks. One of the books Ifve read is gCrazy Loveh by Francis Chanc(if you have never read this book go out and buy itcnow and if you have read it you know exactly what I am talking about) the book talks about being goverwhelmed by a relentless God,h it is a compelling story and really makes you analyze your life and especially you walk with Christ. One of the chapters in the book talks about being a lukewarm Christian. One...

FAST

I have decided fasting got its name either because when people are fasting they want it to go by FAST or because when it is finally over you eat everything you see really FAST.    A few weeks ago our leaders decided the group needed to fast.  Our meals consisted of one slice of bread with butter or jelly for breakfast and one slice of bread with peanut butter for lunch.  I was already hungry all the time because the portions were so small that lessening our food intake angered my flesh.  Our group fed  (no pun intended) off each other’s negativity and I...

He Stood. He Walked!

Meet my new friend, we will call him, Tony. Tony lives in the slums. He lived in the house next to one of our Kenyan friends. He has something wrong with him medically. He has what they call epilepsy, but it doesn’t seem like that to me. He has really bad tremors all the time and he has not been able to walk for as long as people can remember. So our mission was to pray over him. We walked into his house in the slum and started our pray session. We prayed for healing. And we prayed and we prayed and we prayed. Someone felt like we needed a bucket of water to wash his feet before he...
