Shopping

I never want to shop again…. going to a market is so stressful.  (Mom, you would have a migraine for weeks)  We went to a Maasai market, kind of like a flea market feeling, yesterday.  It was in the parking lot.  We walk up to a sea of vendors… and immediately everyone starts calling me over… “Sister, come come.”  “I give you good price.”  At first I was very interested and listening to what everyone said to me… but after 3 different people all telling me I was their first customer and trying to charge me 3x...

Me, Daniel, and Eliz.  All the Kenyans claimed to be American at the bash. 12 days!

hello all!   This last week we went to a boys school where they mentor and teach boys off the streets to have a relationship with Jesus and get them back on their feet again. It was really cool to see it and we got to hear some pretty cool testimonies from the boys. This next week is our last week of going out and doing ministry before debrief! It is so crazy that this past two months have flown by and it is already coming to an end! Wow!   Thanks to all of you that have been reading my blog and commenting! I miss you all and can’t wait to show you pictures and tell you...

Photo Blog (part 2)…

Round two… I’m not sure what town we’re in… but we were on a tour of some projects ICC is involved with. The flowers popped out next to the dust covered compound… Kelsey working as we took down the old church at Kiserian… Shiko, one of the little kids that always loved to follow us when we worked at Kiserian. The temporary tent we “put up…” it was free.  Enough said. Traday, one of our wonderful leaders! 🙂 (Out of Order) Taylor infront of the church, before we took it down. Sam and Jeff on our beloved bus… drivin...
