God Blesses!

Hey all, Today is my first official blog!  I am going to talk a little bit about what God has done so far.  Our training camp is a 4 day camp where my team of 16 (plus two leaders) and around 140 other college aged students bond.  There are around 10 different countries that are going to be touched by God through these groups such as Peru, Uganda, India, and Kenya.  God is doing great things by bringing all of these individuals together for one purpose.    To share God’s LOVE.  After training, we are leaving tonight to stay the night in the Atlanta...

Life lesson 1: Always close all flaps and zippers to your tent.

HI HI!   GEORGIA! Yay! Claire and I arrived in Atlanta Friday afternoon to find our Kenya team there! We met our new family for the next two months and really…the rest of our lives. We have all become so close already and the team dynamic is really working out in our favor! Praise Jesus for new friendships and life long memories that are already being made. I will come home changed!

I have been so blessed by the training camp! AIM wants to take care of so much and I have been blessed by there teaching and worship! My 12 sister and 6 brothers are such a God sent to me!! A power house we will be for Gods Kingdom! We all have worshiped togeather, sweat togeather in in the humid GA weather, and slept in tents in hopes that the pouring rain doesn’t wash us away 🙂 God is breaking us and forming us to believe in Christ! To believe in Gods power and authority and we can do anything in Christ name!!

Eggs and Surrender

AIM Training Camp.  Whew.  4 Days.  Amazing.  Exciting.  Challenging.  On Saturday night we were all given eggs as we walked into the gym (of sorts) for the evening service and told not to crack them but to keep them on our bodies until we were told what to do next.  We sang and listened to a man speak about surrender really challenging us to leave all of our anxiety about anything and everyone in the States.  Markers were passed around to about 150 of us (going all over the world with AIM) to scribble what we needed to surrender.  When we...
