TIA

hey guys im honestly missing you guys! thinking about you alot

africa africa 🙂 WOW so im in love. alots happened this past week. We just got back from a school in slums with a bunch of little kids!! they are so loving and so amazing. They just want to love you. Love getting hugs! and they loooooove cameras! haha tonight is laundry aaah yeah stoked on that:) the church is amazing to us they take such good care of us. we travel around in the church van basically a bus so no public transport which is cool. driving here is crazy people just run into the streets to cross only some roads with lanes bumpy dirt roads. we saw monkeys at the hostel were staying at! we all went crazy but the locals were just like whats the big deal? monkeys.. been learning some swahili (thats not the way you spell it) yani actually means monkey lol i turned 20 a couple days ago it was a really good day. Our first day doing ministry. We went out around the church and invited people to come watch the World Cup. Its in south africa this year so everyones super into it. I’m really learning the power of prayer. Everythings boils down to a spiritual fight.

The culture is so much more relational here. It’s normal to just stop someone in the middle and the street and say hi. They want to talk. Probably explains the whole africa time. Our pastor said “You have the watch but we have to time” basically meaning that well get there when we get there lol its not a rude thing just the way their culture works. We have a cook from the church named patrick. He’s been giving us some african classics like mandazi pretty much like donuts without the yeast and chapati ..like a pita/tortilla thing there really big on tea here too He rides his bike everywhere and wants to come to america to race in a bike a thon.

We told our testimonies last night (how we became christians) its was really cool to hear everyones stories. The locals testimonies were so powerful and inspiring.

God is so good to us. and he is here for the entire world. The church we go to is pretty westernized. We’re actually going to be able to do our own service one sunday. They have three different services at two different locations. There church is really inspiring because they’re very involved in the community. Really just enforcing a Christ like life and getting involved. They visit the slums very frequently and are working on building a shopping center in the area around the second location of there church to help build of the community. Its really inspiring I feel like i have so much more to say but you’ll hear from me again soon!

I love you all so much thinking of you often your all so beautiful. shine with the love of God
