The easiest thing to do is nothing…

Hello Friends and Family,

When our team met at the Atlanta airport it was so awesome how everyone just clicked together. Right off the bat we had our first shock we were handed an envelope with a note and some money the, the note said to  find a place called the safe house. The safe house is a homeless shelter in Atlanta, little did we know that we were actually going to be staying the night there.

In our first meeting we were told that “the easiest thing to do is nothing.” This meant that anyone can just sit back and not do anything but it really takes courage to go out to talk with people. So it happened we were given our second task in an envelope, in the envelope there was a note, a map, and  one dollar per person. In the note it said to follow the map and speak to people, the money was to be spent however we felt God was telling us to spend it. When we got to our spot we saw a man following behind us, so Jake and I turned around and introduced ourselves. We then proceeded to ask the man if he knew Jesus, he told us he did so we just simply asked him if we could pray for him he said he would love it. We ended up buying the man some food.

When we finished praying and helping him, we continued walking and praying for several others. When we found a man named John he looked very lonely, so we went to talk and pray for him. He told us that he backslid and knew what he needed to do to know Jesus again. I wish I could say that he lead him to Christ but we didn’t, I do feel like we did our part and we did what God told us to do and we planted a seed in his life.
