I spoke briefly with the team leaders today. The phone connection was very sketchy today and our conversation got cut off after only about 4 minutes. But this is the update they have for you guys…
-They're doing more door to door evangelism this week and really enjoying getting to speak hope and life into people.
-They went to a local marke and really enjoyed that. They were able to see local crafts from this tribe, the Pokot people and they loved it.
-They went back to the school this week. Everyone is teaching different subjects.
-They're doing plays at church this week, it's youth sunday so they're helping with that.
-Some of the team has the opportunity to milk camels. It is uncertain if anyone actaully drank the camel milk, except for their host, Margaret, who thoroughly enjoyed it. 🙂
-Everyone is physically well.
Their travel plans have changed somewhat from the last update I posted. They now will be back in Kijabe on Wednesday, Oct 26th. At this point you can look forward to hearing from them again.
Thanks for all your prayers and support for this team. They sound really good and are thoroughly enjoying life in Kenya.
