Praise God for community and freedom. In the past few days at training camp, He has clearly blessed me immensely with both. I could not be more thankful for the people that God has placed on my team, they are all so joyfully goofy and SO fun to be around. It’s crazy to think that we have only known each other for a few days, anyone seeing us together would think that we have all been friends for years. I am so incredibly excited to see how the Lord chooses to use all of our different gifts for His name. God has already begun to make such a change in my heart in the past few days that I cannot even begin to imagine what the next few months will hold. I can feel Him holding my heart as He is beginning to break down walls and erase fears that I have been so foolishly clinging to. Praise God! I pray that He will continue to break me and continue to remind me that with Him, I have everything. In this moment, I have never been more aware of the love that I have from my Father and it is AMAZING.
The awesome thing is, this is just a taste of what’s to come! We leave tomorrow for Kenya, and I pray that God will continue to blow us all away with His power and His gentle love. I pray that we will all be open to both and that He will break our hearts for what breaks His. I am SO excited to finally be in Kenya!
