Massai tribe-ing it up

HELLO FRIENDS AND FAMILY! Stuff is going well in Kenya. We started planting a church last week. The team and I tore down the old church(kind of sad because it was an awesome shed looking church) and cleared rocks out of the way. We have been doing some heavy duty little construction by hand. The little town we are planting the church in is called Kiserian about 20 minutes from Nairobi. The town is full of donkeys and the Massai tribe. The best part of ministering in Kiserian so far is that one of the Massai tribe whos name is Isaiah(pronounced E-sigh-a) randomly showed up to our work sight and invited us to come to his small village in the hills of Kenya. We left last Friday and traveled up into the hills, the drive was AMAZING and SO beautiful. I felt like I was worshiping God by admiring His creation of the hills. Our team arrived at village made up of about 4 huts or so, and kids were everywhere(11 in total) The grandmother of the tribe came out and greeted us with a touch on the head, some kind of Massai greeting. We toured the little huts and found out Isaiah has 2 wifes, explaining all the kids. The tribe was SO SO nice, they served us tea, and lunch(chipoti and beans, awesome).I loved every second of it. Its so awesome that a random Massai came to where we were working and invited us to see the lives they live, such a peaceful life living in the hills. We prayed for his household, had a little service, and left. I think people should use more kindness like this. Invite random people over, serve them lunch, talk to them, love on them. It was an awesome experience I wont forget.
