i know it’s late, but happy father’s day dad! you are the best and i love you and miss you so much!
i have to be quick:
we went to the slums and played with children in a school there. never in my life have i seen such hopelessness. but God is sovereign and i have to keep remembering that. He has been answering prayers, i notice as i read back over journal entries. He is giving me ideas about what to do when i get home. i’m pretty excited! been playing lots of guitar and singing all the time. we washed our clothes by hand. i will never again take a washing machine and especially a dryer for granted. it’s fun to watch peoples’ reactions when we pass by them on the bus. adults tend to stare. young men… well, they act like young men. and the children usually get super excited. i love when the children play with my hair. this week we are evangelizing in a city called kiserian. please pray that God will give our group wisdom with the decisions we are faced with.
i love you all!
