` For anyone who knows me knows that I DONfT READ! However, as Ifve learned, Africa can make crazy things happen in your lifec like read two books in two weeks. One of the books Ifve read is gCrazy Loveh by Francis Chanc(if you have never read this book go out and buy itcnow and if you have read it you know exactly what I am talking about) the book talks about being goverwhelmed by a relentless God,h it is a compelling story and really makes you analyze your life and especially you walk with Christ. One of the chapters in the book talks about being a lukewarm Christian. One section that hit me the hardest was glukewarm people say they love Jesus, and He is, indeed a part of their lives. But only a part. They give Him a section of their time, their money, and their thoughts, but He isnft allowed to control their lives.h After reading that section I felt so compelled to pray, because for the longest timec that was mec and to be completely honest it sometimes is still me. I have been learning that this life is completely a gift from God and for His name to have all the Glory (which HE should) I have to completely and honestly surrender my entire life to Him. Its not easy by any means but Ifm learning its worth it. In fact giving up complete control of my life, my money, my future, my time, my family, and my friends is the HARDEST THING IVE EVER DONE! Everyday I have to wake up and surrender it everyday, but seriously He deserves it, and so much morec itfs the absolute least I could do.
Being human and selfish is common nature but to truly call myself a Christian I have to be SELFLESS because when I surrender everything I give God the control, which is where control needs to be!
My challenge to everyone is donft be a verbal Christian, give EVERYTTHING TO GOD. I promise he will take care of you, in fact I guarantee it.
