Far From Over

It’s so crazy that the time is here, just about 2 months ago I was on an airplane about to embark on a journey that I knew was gonna forever change me, the way I see life, and many things were gonna be affirmed. I didn’t know how any of that was gonna pan out, but it definitely did. God used these months to rock my world. To open my eyes to the things unseen, to break my heart, to really impact those around me and the people I ministered to. This world is in so much need, it yearns for truth. It’s our duty as the body of Christ to break out of our bubble and realize what reality is. And how the word of God directs us on how to handle such situations. The trip had it’s challenges and frustrations, but the beauty in that is the fact that God turned out bad times to glorify himself and people were still taught, healed, restored, and re-gained their identity. Personally, faith has been redefined. To meet people who have nothing and yet carry stronger faith that I was convicting. These people have taught me so much. Kenya is a beautiful country with so much potential. It’s also in a lot of need, but with people coming here and helping God will use that to change their situation around. Just the other day I met a man named Steven, he has more life in him than any other person I’ve ever met. And his stories are just insane! He fought in war, rescued people during the elections, and truly served this country. He has issues that are straining his legs and are keeping him from walking. There is no doubt in my mind that this disease doesn’t belong in him. We began to pray over him after talking to him for several hours and upon returning the next day to see him for a bit his joy and smile was radiating the whole room he was in. He claims that he was able to walk for the first time since he was in the hospital. The doctors put him on “complete bed rest.” a man is healed! To God be the glory. Sickness and disease can’t overcome life and faith. It has nothing on Stevens body. From Francis, John, Simon, Steven, to the rain that was provided to a village in drought. There are footprints that are gonna be left here all pointing up..for God is an almighty King that uses people like myself who is so unworthy to bring a piece of heaven down on earth. But it’s not just me, it’s everyone and anyone for it is our duty.

Ill see you soon Kenya..
