WE’RE SLOSHIN!!!!!

Okay, so being a visual learner I learn best by examples of real life situations that I can imagine… so prepare yourself for this actual life example and how I tie it into my daily walk with Christ.   This past week we went to a boys center called “Hope Center”, its a place where men take boys off the streets and disciple them and give them a free education and after two years they graduate and go back to their homes to make a better life for themselves with Christ as their center.  So at Hope Center we were asked to carry water from a storage holder about a half...

What do you do when you catch a mosqweeeto?

This week we went to a boys school in Isinya; which was where 16 boys from troubled pasts have come and received an education and Bible classes/training. He has what they call epilepsy, but it doesn’t seem like that to me. He has really bad tremors all the time and he has not been able to walk for as long as people can remember. So our mission was to pray over him. We walked into his house in the slum and started our pray session. We prayed for healing. And we prayed and we prayed and we prayed. Someone felt like we needed a bucket of water to wash his feet before he...

Jinalongu ni Justin Williams.  I am 18 years old and currently a missionary based out of Nairobi, Kenya.  I have been blessed with the opportunity to do God’s work here for one month already and I still have about one month to go.  This is my first real mission trip but not my last.  When I return to the states after my mission here is done I will be attending Sam Houston State University where I am a Mass Communication major, Sociology minor.  This is the degree I am working on for one reason; the Lord has called me to start a magazine and mission...
