God is SO great!

AHHHHHH!!!! God is So Great! He has been rocking my world the past few days! I have been at training camp for the past few days and am headed out to Kenya in the morning (we are heading to the airport tonight actually). So God has been teaching me a lot. Two days ago as we entered out night session we were handed an egg. We were told to hang out to this egg all night until told differently. Team Bonding In Georgia :)

Our team is an amazing blend of personalities and I know we are all really excited to grow our relationships with each other, our Kenyan friends, and God!  One of our team building tasks yesterday was to create a team mural for our trip. Designs were discussed and changed throughout the process, we chalked our final idea on the canvas and everyone started painting.  It was really cool just sitting back and watching our team work as one body to create something...

Wrecked From the Ordinary

In an Atlanta homeless shelter, written in a small corner of the wall, in a room packed of twelve girls and all their two months worth of stuff was a quote that said: “We are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a Holy Nation, a peculiar people, that we should show forth the glory of the one who brought us out of darkness into HIS marvelous light.  In that moment the reality of this trip set in.  We ARE the chosen generation, we will impact the world we were called to serve.  I have learned very quickly that this is the biggest leap I’ve...
