God is Amazing

As I am sure everyone has already posted we are not sleeping in tents we have been blessed enough to be able to sleep inside in beds. On our first outreach we walked around and talked to people 7 people were lead to Christ God still saves. On that same day God placed a new calling on my life on top of the calling for Kenya I know that God is here. God’s Blessings

Sorry, I only have a really quick update!   It’s day five in Africa and I’ve already learned so much. God has blessed my group so much. Got the Time?

There is a saying here in Africa… “you may have a watch, but we got the time.”  There is almost no concept of time here unless it’s Sunday, and I love it.  It is really laid-back and our contacts are completely sold out for Christ and His work.    We just finished with our second day of ministry, the first few days after our arrival were spent doing some cultural training and team building activities.  Our first day of ministry we went into the streets and began street witnessing around the church that we are serving at, called ICC...

WOW!

Hey all! So I wanted to start off by saying that Kenya is so different from America!  HUGE birds in the trees, monkeys in the backyard, they drive on the left side of the road, and their steering wheel is on the right side of the car!  Besides that, Kenya is similar to the US in the sense that we all look out for each other.  Patrick (the most amazing cook!) even cooks vegetarian for me!  I love everything that we have done so far.  Today we worked at a school where I helped some first graders with math (I know, me math?), and helped to cook.  The children were...
