"Therefore is anyone is in Christ, there is a new creation; old things have passed away, and look, new things have come."
This probably sums up my entire trip. At the beginning I had a heart with bandaids on it and now there is a healing heart with only a few scars, but the heart is beating like a whole new organ.
I have seen people go from doing drugs, to throwing themo n the ground and accepting Christ. My eyes have seen hope in the eyes of the hopeless on the streets, healing in the sick, thankfulness in those who have nothing. God has gained many new sons and daughters this summer, not only here in Kenya, but all over the world.
God has taught me a lot and broken my heart for so many people here. A piece of my heart is definitely here in Kenya. A big chunk of it is in Kitale at the Challenge Farm and in Busia at the orphanage. I hope to be back here someday and help out with so many kids who got to opportunity to go to school and have a place where they belong and are loved.
I am going to be home in America in less than a week and I feel like I just got here. God is going to continue to touch peoples hearts and lives here in Kenya. He will be making new with the old all the time.
