This awesome journey to Kenya started 3 days ago when 200 others arrived at training camp in Toccoa Falls, Georgia. I love it so far! I've come here with great expectations believing that God is going to bring hope, life, healing, respration, truth, love, encouragement, power, peace, conviction, and beautify to the hearts of those who have none. I'm expecting great things to happen over the next 2 months! I know that each person on our team of 23 has an important part in God's master plan for this summer. Each one of us has come here with different gifts, strengths and personalities. Each one of us play a unique part in the body of Christ. Through training camp I've been reminded that God alone casts out fear and that it has no power over us because we are free– a simple truth that means so much when you are out of your comfort zone and fear and doubt creeps in. God breaks down the walls of fear and builds us back up with boldness and confidence- not in ourselves, but found in Him. As we begin this journey please pray that we trust God to be enough– that we have confidence and so much love for those we will be ministering to that we overflow with God's love and nothing hinders us from accomplishing all He has planned.
