So far, in the past two weeks I have been in Atlanta (Georgia), Frankfurt (Germany), Addis Ababa (Ethiopia), Nairobi (Kenya), and now Busia (Kenya). We have lived on air planes, hostles, and now houses. We don't have toilets, hot showers, or beds (some of us). We have made up games, learned some, played a LOT of football (European), danced, sang, and have eaten…lots.
It has been nothing like I have expected…how could it have been? The children are nicer than I have expected, the bathrooms are less visable (lol) as I expected, the church is more excited than I expected, and the mosquitoes are less prominent than I expected. And God…well He is more obvious than ever.
God has continually blessed us with amazing, loving host families who have made us food beyond our compasity to eat. And if ya'll knew me, you know that means a lot 😉 We are so ready to start our ministry tomorrow so please pray that we will let the Spirit guide us to do whatever He so desires.
