WOW so were leaving tonight, flying out of Atlanta. I’ve been doing the training camp since friday and now we’re finally off. Its pretty amazing! Everything has been amazing! i feel like I’ve been gone for weeks already but it’s one been a couple days! ..were not even in Africa yet!
My team is beautiful. I’m so excited to get out on the field and live it out with them. I just want unity so bad for our team and I really feel like God’s blessed us with that already. Everyone’s heart is so pure. Everyone puts God first and that’s so encouraging for me. Especially since I’m not fully used to the christian community yet, just got saved in november hasnt even been a year yet!! There all beautiful people and I already feel such an amazing positive encouraging environment. Just really safe.
Trainings been good. I’m really greatful that we had training camp before we got there so we could all get to know each other before we left. The airport we definitely make us closer ..have an 18 hour flight.
They’ve already started trying to get us used to the way its gonna be over seas. We’re camping out and eating dinner with our hands haha
I’m really ready for this trip. God has amazing plans and he’s going to do amazing things through us. I can just feel his presence in all of our hearts so strongly. I pray to give myself more and more to his will. I surrender self judgment and judgment of others. I’ve been praying that God will FILL me with his heart and give me a heart for his people. really break down the wall of fear. Please keep me in your prayers.
I’m so greatful for this trip everythings been amazing and we havent even left yet. I just started crying to today because God is so good to us. Why me? Why’d he choose me to have the opportunity to be able to go. It seriously blows my mind.
OH side note i met someone from san luis obispo!!! haha how crazy shes going on the bolivia trip! that honestly blew my mind.
the southern weather here is crazyy its super hot and humid and then just starts POURING down rain for like 5 min and then everythings completely dry again in like 30 minutes. not in cali anymore my friends.
okay have to go pack my stuff up for the plane and eat ..havent had lunch yet not sure how much sense this blog makes.. lol
