I’ve been at Toccoa Falls College (middle of nowhere) for the past 3 days for training camp and I couldn't ask for anything better. My team consists of 19 girls and 4 boys. Our team is EXTREMELY loud (so I fit right in), goofy, and so full of laughter. I was really nervous about meeting my teammates and the awkward moments that would lie ahead as we got to know each other but I have never become so close to so many people in such a short time. I can feel God’s presence within our team and how His love just pours out of each team member. Training camp has broken walls and stretched me thin in a way that never seemed possible. I am speechless when it comes to my experience at training camp, which many know is not very likely. There are no words to adequately describe how God has revealed Himself to me and what He is going to be doing through me. He not only is revealing Himself to me through His voice but also through the voices of my teammates which is SOO encouraging! There is so much that we experience a day that it feels like I’ve been here for weeks. We have encountered Jesus, camped, hiked, worshiped, been encouraged, and so much more. Training camp has been the most uncomfortable situation yet most fruitful situation I have ever been in. I cannot IMAGINE what Kenya is going to be like because the experiences at this small college in the middle of nowhere have already blown my mind. I just can’t wait till Tuesday to get on that plane and be headed to the place I KNOW I’m supposed to be!!! Thank you all for your support and prayers that have gotten me here. You have no idea how much of an impact you have already made!
