It’s crazy we have been together for three weeks. It really seems like I’ve known all these people for so much longer. Anyway I don’t really feel like writing a deep, serious blog right now. So i’ll just briefly mention how each team member contributes something incredible to the team.
Sam – He is the oldest of all of us, and he is a natural leader. I’m sure he would say he needs to grow a lot more in his faith, but to me he has been an incredible example of how to really go all in and try to strengthen your relationship with Christ.
Sandy – You Canadian, im really happy you’re on this trip. Like I said last night, you are the epitome of Christ’s love for others. You can get on with anyone, and bring such happiness, and brotherly love to the team.
Ryan – You are sitting next to me right now. I have been very impressed with how much of a leader you have been during evangelism, always stepping up to over encouragement or prayers. You’re also so easy going and honest that it’s been great to get to know you.
Sarah – I think you’re hilarious, you make everyone laugh all the time, and you have an extensive knowledge of disney movies that I envy. You bring joy to the team, but also wisdom and you really know how to encourage others.
Anna – God has blessed you with musical talents, and i’m glad youre here to lead our worship. Hopefully at some point you can deep fry us all some oreo’s too. That would be wild.
Lizzy – You’re story is an inspiration. YOu’re attitute toward life is so much better than my own. I hope that it will rub off on my over the next seven or so weeks. You’re openness and honesty have helped others feel compfortable to share and tha is why we have such great community.
Colleen – It has been said before, but you are such a servant. You’re christ like attitude of putting others first is soemthing I think we can all hope to imitate.
Brittany – The way you have overcome illness and homesickness is awesome. Every day you choose to do what God would want, sometime over what you desire. That is an incredible testimony, this is exactly where you are supposed to be.
